Golden Heart Emergency Physicians is owned and operated by board-certified, practicing physicians with a broad range of expertise in primary care, emergency, and hospital-based medicine. Guided by this expertise, and operating within an efficient and responsive business structure, we supply the highest caliber of emergency health care services to the Fairbanks community.

 

We seek to create a cohesive group of Emergency Physicians who are committed to offering consistent Emergency Care services to the people of Interior Alaska. Practice Profile

 

Community oriented practice • Newly renovated, expanded Emergency Department • 35K yearly annual volume, about 1.9 per hour • 22 private treatment rooms • 3 behavioral health rooms • 2 resuscitation bays • Hospitalist Service • 24/7 GS & OS coverage • 24/7 in-house CT tech with nighthawk radiology interpretation on after hours CT studies • Cardiology service with 24 hour cath lab • Urologist in the community • Transfers sent to Anchorage or Seattle • Under 1% of patients seen in the ED are transferred • Admissions approximately 12-15% Coverage • 19 hours daily of Midlevel coverage • 8, 10, and 11 hour MD shifts Hospital Profile • Fairbanks Memorial Hospital is a JCAHO accredited facility • 159 bed hospital • Primary referral center for the 98,000 residents of Alaska's interior Group Profile • Stable Democratic Group • Full time group position 10-14 shifts per month • 2 year Partnership track • 401(k) matching • Excellent health benefits • Performance Incentives • Per Diem positions 6-10 shifts per month, with paid travel and housing • Paid Professional Liability
