Every year, Golden Heart Emergency Physicians cares for approximately 35,000 patients at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital Emergency Department. Our board certified physicians, registered nurses and support staff have received specialized training in critical care and are equipped
with the latest life-saving technology to treat patients experiencing medical emergencies, anytime of the day or night.

Urgent Care Services At Fairbanks Memorial Hospital

Golden Heart Emergency Physicians also offers Urgent Care services in
the Emergency Department to treat patients with more minor injuries or
illnesses that require immediate attention. The same consulting
services, imaging services and lab services are available as for
emergency care. Our board-certified Emergency Physicians work side by
side with our physician assistants day and night. Urgent Care services
are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. No
appointment is necessary for quality, faster care from a name you
trust.

 

CARDIAC CARE

Interventional Cardiologists are a phone call away with cath lab services available 24/7 to treat your heart attack. Time to treatment is a key factor in preserving heart muscle during this critical event. Our entire staff excels at rapidly diagnosing a heart attack and quickly preparing you for transition to the cath lab. When seconds count, there is no better place to be than in the Emergency Department at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.

 


 

DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING / RADIOLOGY

We have 24/7 access to CT and X-ray studies. Ultrasounds and MRI can be obtained 24/7 when they are indicated. In other instances we can arrange for timely follow-up studies. All hospital technologists are registered and utilize some of the best equipment in any facility in the US.  Board certified radiologists are available around the clock to interpret studies when needed.

Operating rooms and surgical teams are always available if it is determined that you need prompt surgery.
