MICHAEL R. BURTON, MD

Dr. Burton is a residency trained, board certified Emergency Physician. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of the group, overseeing the day to day business operations and coordinating staffing/scheduling. He also serves as Treasurer of the group.

Dr. Burton earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. He earned his Medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlotte, VA.

Professional Memberships include the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, and is a Diplomat of American Board of Emergency Medicine.
